Gift Card Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to our gift cards:

1. Gift cards can be redeemed at participating Marston’s pubs to purchase food and drink. A list of participating pubs from time to time can be found lovemylocals.co.uk

2. Gift cards may not be used for credit on gaming machines or similar and are not valid against the purchase of additional gift cards. Our gift cards are not generally accepted by licensees of leased and tenanted pubs. Please check the list of participating pubs before you visit to avoid disappointment.

3. Normal licensing conditions and opening times apply. Management have discretion to refuse service or request proof of age and their decision is final.

4. The minimum load value of this card is £5.00 and the maximum balance value of a card is £250.00.

5. If you do not spend the entire amount on the gift card the remaining balance will be updated after each purchase. No change will be given, but the balance can be used against future purchases. You can check the balance of your gift card https://giftcard.lovemylocals.com/check-balance/

6. The gift card will either expire 24 months after the date of issue or 24 months from the date of the last transaction (whichever is later). Any remaining balance will be cancelled on expiry.

7. Gift cards can be used as part payment for a transaction with the balance being paid by another accepted method.

8. If any product purchased with a gift card is subsequently exchanged for a product of lower price or a refund, any money owing will be issued as a gift card.

9. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash, and are not a cheque guarantee, credit, debit or charge card.

10. Marston’s cannot be held responsible for lost, damaged or stolen gift cards, please treat gift cards as if it were cash.

11. We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and take appropriate action, including cancellation of a card, if necessary, in return for an appropriate refund.

12. Your privacy is important to us. We will only process the personal data you provide in connection with the use of this gift card and/or as otherwise required by law. Full details are set out in our privacy policy which is available here marstons.co.uk/contact/privacy-policy.

13. These terms and conditions are made under English law. Any dispute or claim made in relation to or in connection with these terms and conditions or the gift cards will be decided by the courts of England & Wales alone. Nothing in these terms affect your rights at law including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
